Third Annual Community Organ Concert

Celebrate the “King of Instruments” at the Third Annual Community Organ Concert on Sunday May 15, 3 pm at Central Lutheran Church in Winona.
Performers include Winona organists Erik Floan (Central Lutheran), Sam Simataa (Central Lutheran), Daniel Lewis (Winona State University, First Baptist), Larry Finke (St. Martin’s Lutheran), Eric Heukeshoven
(St. Mary’s University), and special guests John Varona (Rochester) and David Lim (University of Iowa).
Listeners will experience the full sonic range of the Hendrickson Pipe Organ built in 1994 for Central Lutheran Church in an ambitious program including:
· A Festive Prelude on "Come, Holy Ghost" by Charles Ore
· Fantasia & Fugue in G Major (BWV 542) by J.S. Bach
· Toccata & Fugue in D Minor "Dorian" (BWV 538) J.S. Bach
· “Allegro” from Symphony No. II by Louis Vierne
· Chorale & Variations on “Veni, Creator Spiritus” by Marcel Duruflé
The concert is open to the public. A free-will offering will be received.
